Moxa for Breech Baby

I was taught this in school and it does usually work. But Why? I found myself asking this question when I had a new patient asking for this treatment to avoid a cesarean. Now one answer could be that it is the autonomic nervous system’s response to putting heat as UB67. But I know of other effects that might be playing a role also. For example, heat will cause structured water to grow. That will cause the flow of extracellular water in the meridian to increase.Heat will also cause the increase in negative charge to make surrounding nerves to fire more often making the autonomic effects even stronger. Can you think of even more effects? Of course we know that the UB channel goes through the lower abdomen so it could affect the baby simply by tonifying that channel have seen a mother who had a restless baby when she came in and after the treatment the baby quit moving around so much. So maby the first treatment calms the baby down and followup treatments will get it to turn and then stay turned. A red LED or laser could probably do the same thing since they cause the same effects as near infrared light.
