I have thought of an objective diagnostic test for a blockage in the circulation of extra cellular fluid. this is just like a blockage in a meridian, just scientifically defined and proven. There are two ways these blockages can typically occur. First is by trauma of some sort or even the medical procedures to fix it. Basically the meridians are mo longer lined up an so the extra cellular fluid cannot circulate properly. Electrical forces can also interfere with how the extracellular spaces line up, as can the trauma itself. The meridians themselves are a secondary system for the circulation of extra cellular fluid especially during periods of rest or inactivity when the extra flow of physical activity in the lymphatic system is inoperative.
The other common cause of a blockage is from severe bruising and the blood that gets into the extracellular spaces congeals and blocks the flow. The best treatment here is dissolving the clots chemically. There are Chinese herbs that are capable of that and possibly Western medications. A blockage typically causes pain. The type of pain typically depends on the tissues affected. Muscles usually get achy whereas nerve tissue tipically causes burny pain. the problems usually are seen in the feet or lower legs where gravity plays a role in aggravating the condition.
So how can we objectively prove this is what is going on? Easy. Just measure the resistance in the channels affected and compare it to the reading on the other side of the body or if the problem is on both sides. measure a similar part of the other limb. In a healthy person, the same channel on both sides of the body should be about the same. As should the readings on any two points on the body the same distance apart. For example, my research has shown that two points on the same channel 12-16″ apart will typically initially read 400-500k Ohms (Using sticky electrodes). Readings between two needles typically will be about 50k Ohms. The extra tissue or congealed blood will make the reading higher through the blockage.But even taking the reading will make the readings rise as will be readily seen. Also Earthing will cause the readings to be higher. Earthing only charges up the capacitance of the skin in the area it is done and not the whole body. But in that case all the channels will have somewhat higher readings. So taking readings on other channels is useful in determining what is “normal” for that patient at that time. Both Polarized electro-acupuncture and d.c. electro-acupuncture will charge the capacitance of the skin and increase the initial readings. 2″ round or square electrodes are preferred for these types of measurements. There may be other uses these types of measurements may have.
