Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is a special form of microcurrent that uses an interferential setup. However it is done rather uniquely. Instead of placing the two channels in an “X” pattern, the two positive leads are connected to one electrode and the two negative leads are connected to another. The electrodes are then placed in such a way that the current is run through the desired tissues. The “frequency specific” part refers to the way the frequencies are selected. F1 is traditionally taken as the frequency for the condition the tissue to be treated is suffering from (such as acute inflammation). F2 traditionally is the frequency for the tissue to be treated (such as a nerve). If you select the right frequencies it usually works (at least that has been my experience). Now instead of needles, they use electrodes, large alligator clips, or graphite gloves (conductive) wrapped in warm wet towels (making the whole towel an electrode. Now normal eletro-acupuncture devices can not do FSM since the frequencies have to be accurate to 0.1Hz. A typical electro-acupuncture machine is lucky to be accurate to 1.0Hz. Now the expensive FSM machines can do what they call “protocols”. A protocol is like a computer program. Each “line of code” consists of a Wave shape (which from looking at it on a oscilloscope means nothing), F1, F2, current, duration and polarity. The longest protocol is for PTSD +EMF and has 98 lines of “code” and runs for 217 minutes. FSM gives you the chance to treat conditions like shingles and Post Herpetic Neuralgia, that have no other effective treatment, and also give you the choice of treating some things like plantar fascitis with or without needles. It is worth knowing about even if you don’t want to do it yourself, you can always direct your patient to someone who does (if you can find one).
Now I have rather recently discovered that you can do FSM remotely. You heard right, remotely. The patient can be thousands of miles away. You just need a picture of their face. This can be explained by a phenomenon called “entanglement” in particle physics. It states that two similar particles can interact at a distance. What happens to one particle will happen to the other instantaneously, no matter the distance(Does that mean that the action travels faster than the speed of light?). The face contains the essence of who you are, both your Qi and Shen, so you and your picture are “entangled”. To date I have run more than 1,000 remote treatments and they do seem to work. I have even done it for 5 dogs 2 cats and a horse and it does work! I have run treatments from a few dozen miles away to a few thousand miles away and got results. I have done it on people without their knowing it and it worked! Now with remote treatments you will not get the effects of the microcurrent since there is no current (the magnetic field is too weak to generate any current), but you will get the effect of the frequencies (And you can even make remedies of protocol similar to making a remedy of Bach remedies. The remedy will only have the effects of the frequencies. I use the aluminum plate I also use for Earthing. I crop a picture of their face and print it out on my color printer. I then place the picture on the plate and run the protocol through the plate. I know it sounds crazy but it really works. I find remote treatments useful for long protocols like PTSD, or to reinforce a treatment I did on them in the clinic. For example, I had a patient who pulled his quads running and had inflammation at the attachment at the tibia. So I modified the pulled muscle protocol to deal with the inflamed tendon. I treated him in my clinic and then ran it remotely. I got a call a few days later that said his quads were much better but now he also had pain in his shins. So we set up another appointment. Without him knowing, I ran the acute shin splint protocol on him remotely. I got a call the next day to reschedule for later since he was feeling much better in both his quads and his shins! Anyway, it really does work and it can become another service you can offer. It can be especially useful for home-bound people. Now iI have just learned you can also imprint frequencies on holographic stickers as well. With the stickers it appears that you can imprint even very long protocols where you are limited to about 80 minutes with a remedy. And they treat continuously instead of a “dose” lice drops or remote treatments.I have found the stickers are great to extend the effect of a treatment and gives the patient a way to treat themselves between visits.
Now I have discivered a few things that make the treatments work better although in-person treatments will always work best for technical reasons. I first discovered that when imprinting a treatment it will always work better if you put their picture on the plate along with what you are imprinting on.
Next I realized that you can get a similar effect as microcurrent with the frequencies themselves. Fot treatments that depend on the microcurrent effect for their effectiveness, such as increasing secretions and most kinds of healing, theatments that did not work remotely will now work.
I have also discovered that the effect of the stickers will usually last 2-3 days before wearing off. This means you usually don’t have to keep the stickers on you at all, “It will work just fine putting them beside your bed on your nightstand. They just have to be inside your magnetic field which usually extends 7-10 feet around you and even near death extends 2-3 feet.
Now, having said all that, The question remains, What is FSM resonating with? It does look like a resonance phenomena, but they don’t really address the issue adequately. For one thing they refer to F1 and F2 as frequencies but they are using square waves not sine waves. Strike one. Square waves are made up of a bunch of sine waves and therefore contain a lot of frequencies as a spectrum analyzer can readily show. When you are breaking a molecular bond like you apparently are when treating scars, you only need one frequency to do that. The energy needed to break a bond can be directly correlated to a frequency by the formula E = hF where h is Planks constant. So why do you need two? Strike two (I actually have a potential answer), The current thinking is FSM is affecting the cell membrane and it is resonating with a part of the membrane to change or correct its function. That may be and it does make some sense. But to resonate with the cell membrane, you would have to be at much higher frequencies than are used with FSM due to their small size. Now from my understanding of physics and Magnetic fields, We are definitely working with magnetic fields. They extend throughout the universe but their strength diminishes with distance. With that said, you would expect no microcurrent effects since the field would be too weak to create any current, but you still could get the effect of the frequencies if the body (or something related to “us”) were sensitive enough for that. It may be somehow related to “scalar waves”. And the results I have seen point in that direction. My guess is that we are working with the magnetic field of the body. However current technology cannot measure field strengths that low. And there are other phenomena that could be explained by this phenomena. I am an engineer and like to know exactly how things work. We know it works. Now lets find out exactly how. There has to be an explanation.
There are experiments that can be readily done that can clear at least some of it up. Let’s look at scar treatment which I think is the easiest place to start. We do the same experiment with rats talked about in her book. Only this time put a band pass filter in the circuit. A band pass filter only allows an adjustable band of frequencies through. You slowly adjust the filter until you see the scar tissue turn into snot. Then look how the part of the filter is set at. You may have to set both ends to allow F1 and F2 in.
Now let me give you something to hang your hat on. If you look at a square wave on a spectrum analyzer, you will see much of the energy is at the pulse repetition rate. So calling F1 and F2 frequencies does have some validity although it is not mathematically correct. In addition, from my experience using interferential electro-acupuncture the normal way, most of the effect does occur at F1 and F2. F1 and F2 also combine to make a “beat frequency” (F1-F2). In “Hemisync” the brain actually does the math and the two hemispheres brainwaves sync up at the beat frequency. The brain likes to work like a hologram. So it may be that the resonance is actually at the beat frequency. My research idea would clarify that out easily. At least that would explain why we need two frequencies when only one is needed. And why do we need to use different frequencies to treat scars in different tissues? Is there some molecular difference? Another question that I do not know the answer to.
Now let’s look at treating inflammation. Similarly, Why do you need a different frequency to treat a different tissue? What is the difference? Is it molecular? Is it something like an offset? As far as what it is resonating with, I personally think that it is resonating with the electromagnetic field that the body puts out. But how to prove it? The field itself can be studied with a SQUID device, but they are very expensive. A SQUID uses super conduction to be able to measure super minute magnetic fields. But even SQUIDS cannot measure super weak magnetic fields. But our bodies certainly can react to them or we would not get the reactions we get with FSM. The very kind that the body’s electrical energy puts out. Even their thought that you are resonating with structures of the cell membrane does not explain why you need two frequencies. So much more basic research needs to be done and not just research to show that it does work as helpful as that is. Doing remote treatments has taught me a lot about how entanglement works. that may prove useful in other ways. Unfortunately I don’t have the funds necessary to explore any of that. Even now, Quantum physicists are speculating that the phenomena of entanglement may help explain other phenomenon physics is having trouble with.
Now when you create a remedy with FSM, you are impressing the frequencies onto a water/alcohol mix ( or onto a holographic sticker). The alcohol makes the frequencies “stick” better and that makes the remedy work much longer. Now by accident I found a way to make the remedy much more potent. If you put their picture on the plate along with the bottle. the remedy will work much better. Stronger and faster effects. The only explanation I have thought of so far that makes any sense to me is you are getting the effect of two treatments at once. A remote treatment and a remedy treatment. Since they work through different mechanisms, the effects can be additive. I have been using a customized “Relax and Balance” protocol that several of my patients have been using to help them get to sleep. Now, using the “potentized” remedy, they report that it worked much better and more quickly. The first time I made a remedy this way the patient was sitting in a chair right above the plate. I knew from my training in Therapeutic Touch that a persons field extends several feet from their body so I felt sure it was their field interacting with the setup I was using. But I was wrong. I tested my theory by making two bottles, one with the person sitting above the plate and one with them not there at all. Both bottles worked the same. So it is the picture on the plate that made all the difference. Interesting, Huh? Now treating emotional problems with FSM appears to only depend on the frequency effects and not the microcurrent effects, which makes sense to me. When treating problems where you are trying to repair tissues or increasing secretions of a tissue, the effects of microcurrent can play a much more important role by speeding up processes in the cell. All I know, is it is those kinds of treatments that don’t always work remotely.
Now with the stickers you are imprinting the interference pattern that is created by the interaction of the two frequencies and that is the same way a hologram is made so that is probably why you can imprint much longer protocols with them. I actually made glass plate holograms in college so I am familiar with that technology.
I have also managed to imprint a FSM protocol on the water/alcohol mixture that was 1-1/3 hour long. Like Bach Flower Remedies, there is a limit to how much information you can imprint. I used to think it was only about an hour. Now I can confidently say it is at least 1-1/3hours. I hope to get it up to 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 hours with some more tricks up my sleeve. We shall see. Using FSM remedies also allows the patient a way to treat themselves between visits so can help stretch out the time between visits. Saving them money. Doing remote treatments can do the same thing.
So now you can see how FSM can be a valuable addition to your practice, allowing you to treat more conditions and also giving you the option of treating some conditions without needles. But I have also found that acupuncture works well with FSM since they work by different mechanisms. I am often combining them to get better results. Knowing how things work, I can better predict what treatment will probably work better and faster and how I can combine them for better results.
