Most of what I talk about is known phenomenon. The rest is fairly new research that has not been duplicated that I know about. But as I explain, it makes perfect sense. As far as my new treatments are concerned, of course not. Where am I going to get the money? The acupuncture community itself does not support any research that I know of. But I have tried them on myself and patients with their informed consent and they do work as expected. Try them yourself if you don’t believe me. You will find they do work as claimed. Then maybe you will take me seriously. FSM does have research on that treatments for inflammation and breaking up scarring do work. Read her books. But there is no adequate research on what is it resonating with? Another area that needs more research. I even suggest some experiments.
But then again, have there been good controlled double blind experiments for classical acupuncture? That is proving hard to do because there can be no such thing as sham acupuncture. Because you will get certain predictable effects needling anywhere on the body. So the western model of how to do research is not applicable. It just can’t be done! So I would use a new model that can get us the information we want. For example use as controls points that you know will not give you the effect you want to study. Or even use points that will give you the opposite effect. Although that may not be desirable for several reasons.
So for now just read my book and try the methods for yourself. Prove it to yourself that they do work (mine). I explain to you why they work. I have proved to myself that they do work, which I knew they should. I describe several phenomena involved with acupuncture you are not aware of and probably don’t even understand. But I give you the information so you can. It is up to you to educate yourself. I’d love to know if something I say in my book is wrong. So far I have received none whatsoever. My conclusions are scientific and logical. And they conform with my over 30 years of clinical experience. I have the education and experience that should tell you I probably know what I am talking about. Read my book, try my new treatments for yourself and you will discover I do know what I’m talking about. Because they will work for you just like they work for me if you use them appropriately.
