Taking the Mystery out of Acupuncture

Most acupuncturists use TCM language to explain how acupuncture works, using terms such as Qi, Elements, meridians, etc. Since most patients don’t know what those terms mean, they’re just as guilty as doctors in using Latin to confuse their patients. What’s worse is the acupuncturists themselves don’t really know how acupuncture works either. They are only taught TCM theory and if they are lucky will be taught some of the autonomic mechanisms. |But there is much more going on than autonomic effects. And those effects can also influence the autonomic effects. And there is even much more to the autonomic effects than they are taught. Such as how/why it influences the usefulness of palpation. There are bio-electric effects that are just as important as the autonomic effects if not more important. There are the many charge related effects that play an important role in acupuncture and chemistry. Even Structured Water plays an important role in the working of acupuncture. And all these things interact with each other.

I have always been curious how things work. That is why I studied electrical engineering first. Mechanical engineering came easy, So I focused on electrical and all the calculus that came with it. I liked physics which is the foundation of all engineering but liked the practical aspects of engineering more. So I took my inborn curiosity to my new profession. It took me about 25 years, But I finally came up with a comprehensive view how acupuncture works. It took me about four years to put it in writing in my first book “Electro-Acupuncture for Practitioners”. Since then, I have learned even more (such as the role of Structured Water). And have developed even more treatments (My latest is a relatively easy and simple treatment for cataracts). Some of my ideas I have trouble implementing because of my disability (strokes – have you ever tried soldering with one hand?). But I can do acupuncture with one hand. And I can write to share my knowledge. Thus this website and my books. And I still have gotten no objections to any of my views. Not one. The closest I have come was being asked “where is your research?” My answer: the research was done by others. I just saw usefulness to using their research to explain how acupuncture works. That is my gift – seeing relationships others don’t. In other words, putting the pieces together into a sensible whole.

Here are the treatments I’ve Come Up With so far:

  1. Treating Degeneration (Slowing or stopping it).
    a. with just a needle.
    b. With an Ion Pumping Chord (stronger).
    c. With an electro-acupuncture machine (strongest).
  2. Treating Inflammation.
    a. With just a needle.
    b. With an electro-acupuncture machine (the best way, works better than cortisone).
  3. Treating inflammation and Degeneration at the same time (such as an inflamed nerve root and a degenerating disk).
  4. Influencing the flow of extracellular fluid with just a needle or two. Can be used to treat edemas and neuropathies.
  5. How to move extra cellular fluid where you want it to go with an electro-acupuncture machine.
  6. How to make a remedy out of an FSM protocol.
  7. How to make an FSM remedy work faster and stronger.
  8. How to heal a partially torn tendon ligament, labrum or meniscus or a cracked or broken bone (after the bone has been set).
  9. A better(more effective) way to needle the scalp when doing scalp acupuncture.
  10. Another sensory line in scalp acupuncture.
  11. Two additional lines for vision in scalp acupuncture.
  12. You can find points to needle in the scalp in scalp acupuncture- using palpation or a point locater.
  13. A way to detect autonomic disturbances of organs.
  14. The frequency range that increases muscle tone or spasminess.
  15. The frequency range that decreases muscle tone or spasminess.
  16. How you should needle “classical” acupuncture points and why.
  17. How you should needle “ah shi” acupuncture points and why.

An eeasy treatment for Cataracts.

An easy wat to treat the dry form of Macular Degeneration.

How to treat the wet form of Macular Degeneration.

  1. And that doesn’t include the many Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) protocols I have developed or modified for my patients.

I aman Acupuncturist with over 32 years experience. I am also an electrical engineer (graduated from Georgia Tech in 1981) and also an author ("Electro-Acupuncture for Practitioners" available on Amazon in book and e-book formats). My goal is to take the mysteryout of acupuncture and to bring it into the 21st century.
