It is one of the least effective treatments I talk about. It doesn’t treat the inflammation at all that is often involved, and unless you can adjust the frequency, you can’t deal with the problem of muscle tension. My anti-inflammation electro-acupuncture technique is much more effective in most cases. It is much more effective than a chiropractic adjustment because it can deal with all of the problems at once. It deals with the root cause of the pain which is the inflamed nerve root. It deals with the pain by stimulating the release of endorphins (By using 100 Hz). It deals with the muscle tension (By using 100 Hz) witch pulls the vertebrae out of alignment and is caused due to the pain. If your patient is doing both, Doing acupuncture after an adjustment, you will help the adjustment last longer. If the patients muscles are so tight that it makes the adjustment difficult, doing acupuncture before the adjustment is advisable.
